How Not To Get Your Ex Back

Okay, so before I tell you how I got my ex back, let me share with you a couple of things that nearly cost me dearly. I guess you can say I was a real jerk, but I was hurt and angry. So my mind wasn't fully engaged and I did a couple stupid things before I wised up.

One of the first stupid things I did was start calling her cell phone and acting like a jerk. I said some pretty stupid things. Some hurtful things as well. Of course, she said some things back, which made me more hurt and more angry. Finally she stopped taking my calls.

Did I get the hint? Hell no. I started texting her messages. I then started emailing her stupid comments! It's a wonder she even talked to me after that!

The next stupid thing I did was to call her Cousin and tell her why Virginia and I were fighting. I'd forgot that Virginia and her Cousin had never got along very well to begin with. Virginia always said that her Cousin was jealous of her. So when I called her Cousin, she started flirting with me over the phone! Geez, I guess she thought that she could take advantage of me in my situation. And buddy, if you could see her Cousin, you know that I had to think about it more than once. She's S-M-O-K-I-N-G H-O-T!!!

But somehow I resisted. Well, she then goes on to call Virginia and tell her that I had called her. What she didn't tell Virginia is the real reason I called. So I get a call at 3 a.m. from Virginia saying that if I wanted her Cousin so bad, that I could have her! (again, I'm seriously thinking about it!!!)

I try and explain to Virginia the reason I called her Cousin was so that she could tell her that there was nothing going on. But damn, that backfired!

Somehow I was able to put a seed of doubt in Virginia's head. I knew that she knew that her Cousin was up to know good. At least, I hoped she knew.

Another stupid thing I did that could have prevented me from getting my ex back is that I called her at work trying to force her to talk to me. From what I heard, I got her into trouble. Boy, it must be true love that she even thought about talking to me after that! I'm surprised that the words "Restrainer Order" didn't come out of her or her Bosses mouth. By the way, her Boss is an older woman about 45 who is also SMOKIN HOT!

Oh why must I be surrounded by hot women!

This went on for about 3 or 4 days before I wised up, chilled out and started thinking things through. I then turned to my friend, Buddy. Buddy is a real player. A smooth talker. Most women don't stand a chance when Buddy zero's in on them. He's that cool.

I've heard women say that Buddy isn't all that good looking, but he's so sweet and charming they can't help their self. It must be true because he can nearly score at will. I've never seen anything like it.

So I called Buddy up and asked him for some advice. I told him my story and like a good friend he sit and listened. I even gave him Virginias Cousin's phone number. I figured he needed something for his efforts! ;)

After I was finished talking, Buddy gave me a good talking to. He pointed out several things that I had done wrong and told me what I needed to do next in order to get my ex back. He told me that after I had done these things, to call him back and he would give me more instructions to carry out.

So I started doing things just like Buddy said.

Buddy said it would take a few days, but that he thought I could get Virginia back. Eventually he proved to be right, but there's a lot in between that made me doubt it once or twice!

Why Do You Want To Get Your Ex Back?

That's the question I kept getting after Virginia left me. I cringed everytime someone asked me that question. Heck, people like my friends and family who knew Virginia were asking me that question, they should have known better! I was getting tired of people asking why I wanted to get my ex back!

About day 3 after Virginia left me I seriously sit down and thought about the reasons that I wanted her back. I actually made a list of the reason to try and get her back versus the reasons I should have just blown her off and let her go.

Needless to say, the list for getting my ex back was much longer than the list for letting her go.

For starters, Virginia and I just seemed like we were made for each other. I know that sounds corny, but it's true.

We liked a lot of the same things in life, we had nearly all the same opinions and beliefs and we truly enjoyed each others company. In short, there were a lot of reason not to let her go.

As I said before, the people around me who should have known better were the ones who also thought I was nuts trying to get my ex back. I have to say, seeing how hateful and indifferent they were being toward Virginia and me kinda hurt. They knew we were like two peas in a pod. They knew we did a lot of the same things together. How could they think I would just let her go? How could they think that I may have believed she wasn't worth getting back?

It was late day 3 or early on day 4 after Virginia left me that I decided to try and get her back. Not having her around was totally driving me nuts! I actually had dreams of us doing the Couple thing together. Not anything fancy, but dreams of us just having Diner or watching a Movie together. I knew I had to give it every effort of my being to get her back! It was like a piece of my soul was missing!

Once I decided to get my ex back, I sit down and wondered how? I'd already tried calling her, texting her and emailing her to no avail. I started to wonder if there wasn't someone she was already seeing. That hurt a lot as well. I wanted to go and park outside her apartment to see who came and went.

But if she ever caught me, I knew she would never trust me again. Plus, the stalking laws what they are in Georgia and all, I didn't want to have a run-in with the law. I was at my wits in on how to get Virginia back.

One thing I did early on was to start asking some of my friends who seemed to do well with Women how the got their ex back. Unfortunately none of them had a solid answer. In fact most of their answers seemed made up. I wasn't real confident in using any of them. I suspect they are the type of guys who don't want their exes back!

It was then that I sit down and made more list (have you noticed, I'm a list maker!) This list consisted on ways to get my ex back. I had probably two dozen ways I thought might work. Of course, when you're lonely and heartbroken, most ideas look good.

Chances are if you're reading this, then you're interested in how I got my ex back in just over a week. "So what" I can hear you saying. Well, the "so what" is that she left angrier than I'd ever seen her, swearing at me and telling me that she hated my guts. On top of that, she said that she never wanted to see or hear of me again.

I was devastated to say the least! It felt like my whole world had come crashing down! And the whole freakin' argument was really about nothing!

All that had happened was that she showed me a picture of her Cousin in a bikini and asked me how she looked. "She's pretty hot in that bikini" I said. Something inside her pretty head snapped because the next thing I knew, she was standing up in front of me cussing and accusing me of having an affair with her Cousin! I'd never even met the chick! I was totally freakin' shocked!

I remember asking myself after she left "How could this happen!" It had truly felt like I had no reason to live. I felt like my purpose in the World had just spun out in my driveway and squealed tires down the road, leaving me a hopeless and emotionally empty shell.

In the days that followed I tried to call her and would get no answer. When I left voice mails or text messages, she wouldn't return them. In fact, one of her friends texted me and it said "Virginia doesn't want to talk to you, leave her alone. Go off by yourself and die jerk wad. You really hurt her and she never wants to see you again"

Again, I was totally shocked? What was I suppose to do? She showed me the picture and I gave her an honest answer. I didn't think it was derogatory or anything, in fact I was trying to pay her Cousin a compliment!

So now you know how I got into this mess. I built this blog to show you how I got into this mess and how I got hooked back up with Virginia in just over a week. It wasn't easy either. I think she really did hate me for a while! LOL But hey, it's all good now because we're back together, happier than ever!
